Smile Design is performed using a computer-assisted presentation of your future teeth, based on photographs and models of your existing teeth. Our team of professionals includes a restorative dentist, a dental technician and if necessary a periodontist and an implantologist. The patient is involved in this process from the very beginning, expressing their desires through to the analysis of the proposed ‘Smile Design’ solution.
Intraoral evaluation of the dental arch and soft tissues of the patient.
Calibration and measurements of the dental proportions related to the facial extra orals ones.
Overlapping of the smile lines and of the extra orals soft tissues for the evaluation of the ideal dental proportions.
Ideal design of the dental arch based upon the esthetic and functional evaluation of the intra ed extra orals parameters of the patient.
Once the design of a patient’s smile is prepared, the planned design can sometimes be transferred to the patient’s teeth very realistically by means of provisional prosthetic work.
This method includes a complete visualisation of the process, where the patient is allowed to assess whether they are completely satisfied with the shape, size and colour of their future teeth. This ensures complete satisfaction for all our patients new smiles.
